How long to plan your stay
- Check-up, cleaning, fillings: Usually 1–2 visits within a few days.
- Root canal treatment: 1–2 visits, depending on the tooth.
- Crowns and veneers: Several visits with lab work in between — plan for about 7–10 days in Yerevan.
- Dental implants: Usually two trips: implant placement, then the final crown 3–6 months later, once the implant has healed into the bone. A temporary tooth is often possible in between.
- Braces and aligners: 12–24 months with regular check-ups — suitable if you can return regularly or spend part of the year in Armenia.
Questions from visiting patients
Can I know the price before I travel?
Yes, approximately. From an X-ray or CT scan and photos we can give a preliminary plan and a price range by email. The exact plan and total are written down after the in-person examination, before any treatment starts.
Which languages do the doctors speak?
Consultations are in Armenian, Russian and English.
Can I get an implant and the final crown in one trip?
Usually not: the implant needs 3–6 months to heal into the bone before the final crown. Most visitors plan two trips; a temporary tooth is often possible in between.
In which currency are prices?
All prices are in Armenian dram (AMD). The USD figures on this page are a guide only, calculated at the Central Bank of Armenia rate.
